We are passionate about ensuring everything we do, from experience to environment, is of the highest possible quality.

We are passionate about ensuring everything we do, from experience to environment, is of the highest possible quality.

The Wellcome Genome Campus Conference Centre is a purpose-built venue for meetings and knowledge sharing, primarily within the research community. Utilising the historic Hinxton Hall for part of its facilities, alongside 21st century spaces, quality and excellence are at the core of the Conference Centre. This is not just represented by the buildings and resources available to Conference Centre delegates, but also in the level of service which they experience.

This commitment to excellence is embodied by the Conference Centre Sales and Operations team, which is led by Business Manager, Linda Prior. Although they are a small team, they hold over 30 years of experience in venue and events management at the Conference Centre, between them. They are therefore ideally placed to work with a range of clients from the scientific community; from receiving an initial enquiry to ensuring that meetings of all sizes run smoothly and successfully.

The ethos of quality and excellence established by Linda and the team is also supported by their colleagues in operational functions from housekeeping to catering, to ensure a seamless experience for all delegates.

The Conference Centre plays a key role in delivering Connecting Science’s mission, and reinforcing our commitment to excellence, from environment and experience.
