A unique opportunity for a Year 10 or 11 student to spend a week with the Wellcome Connecting Science team.

Wellcome Connecting Science is the Wellcome Sanger Institute’s learning, training and engagement programme. Our goal is to enable everyone to explore genomic science and its impact on research, health and society.

This is an opportunity to experience a busy week with us, based with the Creatives team. Throughout the week, you will explore how non-scientific roles make an essential contribution to the work at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

There will be opportunities for practical experience and completion of tasks linked to a range of roles across the creative team, science engagement, social science research, marketing and communications, event organisation, and laboratory training.

Who is this work experience placement for?

Applications are invited from Year 10/11 students with an interest in roles not based in laboratories.
